MaxTo is now on the Mac. Version 3.1 is the first Mac release, a native app that does everything MaxTo 3.1 for Windows does. It lives in the menu bar and runs on macOS 14 Sonoma or later.

A grid on every display. Press ⌃⌥⌘Space, then drag across the grid, and the active window snaps to the cells you selected. Each display has its own number of columns and rows. Press Tab to jump to the next display, or Page Up and Page Down to cycle through them, and Esc to cancel.

Presets, one keypress away. Hold ⌥ while dragging to save the region as a preset and give it a key. Next time, press that key in the grid and the window moves at once. Presets are also in the menu bar's Move To menu, for every display.

MaxTo remembers where your windows belong. Hold ⇧ while dragging and MaxTo remembers that position for the app, with an Undo if you change your mind. New windows from that app open there automatically, on the display you chose. Recall window, Recall all windows and Fit to grid each have a shortcut, and Settings → Applications lists every remembered app.

Works with Shortcuts. Every action is available in the Shortcuts app, so you can run it from Spotlight, Raycast, a shortcut or the command line.

MaxTo for Mac also brings the welcome tour, automatic updates, and the interface in 32 languages, including right-to-left Arabic and Urdu. A MaxTo license works on both Mac and Windows, and you can try it free for 14 days.
