A window snapped into a region you drew on the grid — the whole gesture MaxTo is built around.
Open the resize overlay
Focus the window you want to move, then press Win + Alt + Space.
Check. A translucent grid window opens over the window's monitor, drawn as a grid of cells. The default grid is four rows by seven columns.
Wrong monitor? The overlay opens on the focused window's display. If it appeared on the wrong monitor, click on a window on the correct monitor first, then press the shortcut again.
Drag a region
Click and drag across the grid to outline the rectangle you want the window to fill. A drag selects every cell from where you press to where you release — two cells wide and three cells tall is fine; so is one cell or the whole grid.
Check. The window resizes live as you drag, so you can preview the fit before committing.
Release to snap
Let go of the mouse. If you change your mind mid-drag, press Esc instead to dismiss the overlay without moving the window.
Check. The overlay closes and the window stays at the rectangle you drew. That's the whole product.
