Language and startup

Pick MaxTo's display language and decide whether it opens when you log in.

Surface Settings → General
দুঃখিত, এই পৃষ্ঠার কিছু বিষয়বস্তু এখনও বাংলায় উপলব্ধ নয়।
Goal
MaxTo speaks your language and opens when you log in — or doesn't, if you'd rather start it yourself.

Choose a display language

MaxTo follows your Mac’s language by default. The welcome tour starts with a language page, so you can pick one before anything else. To change it later, for MaxTo only:

  1. Open Settings → General.
  2. Pick a language from Language. System default goes back to following the Mac.

The new language takes effect right away. Switching between a left-to-right and a right-to-left language, such as Arabic or Urdu, also mirrors the window layout. That part needs a restart: click Restart Now when MaxTo asks, or restart it later.

The same choice lives in macOS, too: open System Settings → General → Language & Region, and add MaxTo under Applications. Whichever place you use, the other one shows the same setting.

If your language isn’t in the list, MaxTo isn’t translated into it yet.

Open at login

The same page has an Open MaxTo when you log in toggle. It’s off until you turn it on. With it on, MaxTo starts when you log in and waits in the menu bar.

Turning the toggle off only stops the launch at login. MaxTo stays installed; you can always start it from Applications or Spotlight. MaxTo also shows up in System Settings → General → Login Items, where you can manage it alongside your other apps.
