Activate or start your trial

Every install starts a 14-day trial automatically. Enter a license key any time to keep using MaxTo afterwards.

The trial starts on its own

The first time MaxTo runs, it starts a 14-day trial. There is no button to press: every feature is available right away, and you’ll see how many days remain on the License page in Settings.

Where to enter a license key

  1. Open Settings (it’s already open after the first launch; otherwise right-click the MaxTo tray icon).
  2. Choose License in the sidebar.
  3. Paste your license key into the field and confirm.

A valid key activates immediately. The License page changes to show the licensed status; no restart is required.

When the trial expires

If 14 days pass without a license key, the resize shortcut starts opening the License page instead of the resize overlay. Activate a key from there, or come back later — your settings, presets, and grid configuration stay where you left them.

Clock changes MaxTo records the trial start date in two places and watches for the system clock being rolled back. If you've travelled across time zones or fixed a wrong system clock, just set the clock to the correct current time and re-launch MaxTo.
