Settings reference
Every option in the Settings window, grouped by page, with default values and where the value lives on disk.
General

| Language | Auto-detect | Pick a specific language, or leave blank to use the Windows display language. |
Displays

| Share by | Resolution | How configuration is shared across monitors. See Use MaxTo with multiple monitors. |
| Rows | 4 | Per display. The maximum is bounded by aspect ratio and minimum cell size. |
| Columns | 7 | Per display. Same caveat as Rows. |
| Margins | 0 | Per display. Pixels of empty space around each snapped window. |
Shortcuts

Where settings are stored
Settings live in a JSON file at:
%AppData%MaxTosettings.jsonDon't hand-edit it The format is internal and may change between releases. Configure MaxTo through the Settings UI; that's the only supported path.
