Save a region once, bind it to a key, and snap any window there with two keypresses.

A preset on the 1 key that snaps any window to the left side of your screen: open the overlay, press 1, done.
In Snap your first window you drew a region by hand. A preset saves that region so you never have to draw it again. You’ll need two windows open, because you’ll try the preset on the second one.
Open the resize overlay
Focus the first window, then press Win + Alt + Space.
Check.The grid opens over the window's monitor.
Hold Ctrl and drag
Hold Ctrl, then drag down the left-hand columns of the grid, from the top row to the bottom row. With the default seven columns, three or four columns makes a good left side.
Check.While Ctrl is down, the selection turns green and a banner reads "Selection will be saved as a new preset". Green is MaxTo telling you this drag saves something.
Release to save
Keep holding Ctrl and release the mouse. MaxTo only checks for Ctrl at the moment you let go, so don’t release Ctrl first.
Check.The window snaps to the region you drew, and an Add preset dialog asks you to press a key for it. The Save button stays disabled until you do.
Bind it to a key
Press 1, then click Save.
Almost any single key works: letters, digits, function keys. Modifier keys, Tab and Esc can’t be used. If you pick a key you’ve already bound on this monitor, the new preset replaces the old one.
Check.The dialog closes. The preset is saved.
Use the preset
Focus the second window, press Win + Alt + Space, and press 1 without any modifiers. The numpad 1 works too.
Check.The window snaps to the left side and the overlay closes. Before you pressed the key, you may have noticed a thumbnail of the new preset along the edge of the overlay. Hovering it previews the position, and clicking it does the same as the key.
Presets belong to a monitor A preset is saved for the monitor the overlay was on, so your other monitors can use 1 for something else. To save one for another monitor, press Tab to move the overlay there before you drag. Save a preset for one-press snapping shows how to use that to send a window to another monitor with one key.
